3 Zip Lock Recipes You Wish You’d Knew Before

Apart from the omelette in a bag recipe, there are many Zip Lock Recipes that lessens the drudgery and makes fixing food an effortless task.

Our three favorite Zip Lock Recipes for RVers are

  1. Walnut Plum in Ziploc
    Ingredients:
    Honey: 3 Tablespoons
    Salt: As needed
    Walnuts: Half Cup
    Plums:4 (8-wedged)
    Pinch of Cloves
    Method of Prep:
    Mix all the ingredients in a Zip lock bag and shake it for 2 minutes. Boil water over the fire and place the bags when the water reaches boiling temperature. Cook until the plums are soft.
  2. Chicken In a bag!
    Take your preferred chicken pieces, mix it with the flavors of your choice and Zip lock it. Now pound the bag into an even layer. Place boiling water over the campfire and bring it to the boil. Place the bag into the bowl and cook until the chicken is tender. Add lime when done and serve hot with a sauce!
  3. Fudge in a Bag
    Ingredients:
    Cream Cheese: 3 Ounces
    Sugar: 1 lb
    Hot Cocoa Mix: Quarter Cup
    Butter: 2 Tablespoons
    Method of Preparation:
    Cover one plate with aluminium foil. Place all the ingredients in the Zip lock bag and squish them. Mix it for 10-15 minutes.
