  • I don't care if I have a surge protector wired in because they generally don't have a reset. That means if they do work and stops a problem, they will have to be replaced before you can use the camper. The plug in ones have an automatic reset. Why would you hook up the black water flush when setting up? I only use it every 2 or 3 dumps because it isn't needed every time. I have a Turbo-Sanicon and wait till the tanks are full or we're leaving to dump.

  • The "stinky slinky" is the actual sewage hose not the caterpillar guide legs. Also, you can store the hose INSIDE the square bumper at the back of the trailer that way you have more room for any slinky extensions you have.

  • Did you put a check valve on the Y before hooking up your sewer flush? Otherwise you risk cross contamination because there is nothing stopping water flow between the two sides especially if connected all the time. With that said the sewer flush, if working correctly, should have kind of a check valve that works with the vacuum breaker, but better safe than sorry. By the way that vacuum breaker is plastic and notorious for blowing out and flooding your trailer (from experience), if you use it that frequently, you might consider a metal replacement.
