I’m Not Lost I’m RVing

  • Whomever got that parking spot AFTER you left is most likely thankful that you cut the branches for them. Yep, that removable window can be a booger. That happened to me and yep, it was almost evening time. I just taped a large plastic bag over the window and waited until morning. It was very easy to get the window back in at that time because I could SEE what I was doing. I can't comment on the A/C or the TV problems because I never use my A/C and don't have or want a TV. I use fans and laptop computer only. Also, I don't have slide-outs and don't want slide-outs… ever. TIRES: I ALWAYS make sure my tires are good to go before I take off anywhere. One word of caution… don't EVER use retreads on an RV. If you have a blow-out on a retread, you could easily blow yourself off the highway and be killed. You guys are on your way now to lots of fun on the road. Once you experience all the problems that can be encountered in an RV, you will be seasoned enough to take care of anything. Happy RVing !!!

  • Soon we will will be traveling around seeing all we can of GODS BEAUTIFUL CREATION, LORD WILLING. I LOVE MY WIFE SO MUCH!!!
MY SWEET STACI, SO HOT, SO FINE, SO BEAUTIFUL!!!
I remember the first time we met. It was january 11th 1974 and we went
Out on our first date and we had a great time. I remember when I took
Her home that night we we're making out in my car sitting in her drive
Way. It was so sweet, so hot, and so fine. We didn't want to stop, we
We would of went all night If her dad wasn't flipping on and off the
Porch light letting her know to come In. We was fogging up the window's
of the car and burning up. We fell In LOVE that night, not sex, LOVE.
I remember latter sitting on her front porch one day talking about us.
I remember telling her It was ME or her so called friends, No more
DRUG'S, POT, DRINKING, OR FOOLING AROUND WITH OTHER'S IT WAS US OR
NOTHING. WE CHOSE US. I then told her I would marry her one day and we
Would spend the rest of OUR life with each other and take care of
Each other as we grow old together, WE SAID YES. She was 15 teen and I
Was 16 teen at that time, We we're so In love with each other and just
Wanted to spend every second of time together that we could. I joined
The marines In 1975 I was 17 teen when I went to boot camp. HER DAD
TALKED ME INTO IT, he said WHEN I got back from Paris Island I could
Marry staci. Needless to say, HE LIED. They told us they would sign
For us but they didn't. They wanted her to finish school first. I begged
and pleated with them that I'd see that she would If they would let us
get married, but they wouldn't. Both our heart's was broken. So We went
together for three year's, And two day's after staci birthday We got
Married. At that time I still don't think they we're to happy about It.
But latter on I became the son they never had. I't was april 4th 1977
And we've been together ever since. Now 44 year's latter she Is still
SO HOT, SO FINE, AND SO BEAUTIFUL She is my wife, my friend, my lover,
My ONLY TRUE LOVE, the mother of my son and daughter, she is my breath,
My everything. Without her I don't exist PERIOD!!! I love her more than
The sky is big, More than word's can say. I still write her love note's
Every morning, And I still can't get enough of her, And I NEVER WILL !!!
She is so precious to me and I THANK GOD WITH ALL MY HEART FOR HER AND
ALL WE DO FOR EACH OTHER EVERYDAY. WE HAVE NEVER GROWN TIRED OF EACH
OTHER, AND WE DO EVERYTHING TOGETHER. WHAT WE DO, WHAT WE HAVE, AND
WHAT WE GET, IS NOT MINE OR HER'S, IT'S OUR'S PERIOD AND THAT'S HOW WE
HAVE BEEN SINCE THE DAY WE MET. We camp, We fish, We ride our motorcycle,
We ride our trike, We yard sale, We shop, We go everywhere together.
You see we have what so MANY don't have, REAL TRUE LOVE. WE WAKE UP
TOGETHER, WE PRAY TOGETHER, And WE READ GODS WORD TOGETHER EVERY MORNING
BEFORE WE GO ANYWHERE PERIOD. Ever since we ask JESUS CHRIST into our
HEART"S OUR LOVE HAS ONLY GROWN STRONGER. We did that In the mid 80's
And It's been the very best thing we 've ever DONE PERIOD. There Is NO
OTHER WOMAN IN THIS WORLD FOR ME EVER PERIOD !!! THERE IS NOT ANOTHER
LIKE MY STACI; WHO NEED'S THE REST WHEN YOU HAVE THE BEST ? AND I KNOW
I HAVE THE VERY BEST, BECAUSE I STILL HAVE MY SO HOT, MY SO FINE, MY SO
BEAUTIFUL STACI, THANK YOU STACI FOR BEING MY ONLY TRUE LOVE FOREVER.
I FEEL WE ARE THE LAST OF OUR BREED. YOUR MAN ONLY DENNIS 333
YOU AND ME KID ALWAYS FEBRUARY 21st 2018 TRUE LOVE FOREVER

  • Oh my God, I'm dying laughing. You're both my spirit animals. So far I've moved the slide in and out bringing a mountain of pine needles (and roaches) into the trailer and ripped off part of the seal in the process. Then, I moved it back out without making sure the cabinets to the entertainment unit were still closed and almost broke both the cabinet and the slide. I've been fulltiming for 6 weeks, btw. I've only moved once so far but clearly I made it count.

  • 1 to 1…I aspire to have those stats when I finally get the RV and hit the road…at least for the first few weeks! Better than 2 to 1! 😉
Love the vids, the humor and info! Keep 'em coming!

  • Way to go Thomas, throw the wife under the trailer, not level at that!! I thought the video was great . Good seing both of you , and I would change it from mistakes to learning curve!!

  • Our first dumb mistake was leaving our raincoats at home while not checking the weather report prior to leaving. My last dumb mistake was going to snowbird in Florida and the only shirts taken were flannel long sleeve shirts. The highs were only in the teens when I left and I forgot to plan for Florida weather. There have been many decades of mistakes between these two.

  • I'm sure you'll make more mistakes. For example, after 10 months of full timing, we closed a slide without checking and broke our flashlight that fell between the slide and the wall. Oh well. Let it all roll off your back.

  • I'm still here at my Sisters, waiting for a check to come in. I got the RV back from the RV Shop that had it sitting there yet they were not going to look at it till the 24th. I decided to just forget about it being there and went to pick it up.

I drove it over to an area that it was at before. As I was making sure everything was shut, I opened the bathroom door and made sure the ceiling vent was closed,, the last handyman installed it backwards!!!!! got to get that fixed for sure. So as I was shutting the bathroom door, it became difficult to close, at first I just thought it was the rug I had on the floor, So I strong armed it to close, and the top of the door popped off the hinge.. LOLOL.. I think I will just take the whole door off and put a curtain up. Hahahaha.. I know I can fix it. But the curtain sounds so much easier… Right??? LOL

  • There is an app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zelusapplications.rvpower it lets you know if your power has gone out! It’s only for Android but even if you got a cheap android phone from Walmart you only need WiFi to run the app if you don’t have service! It can send the notification to any phone! We love it because we have a dog and worry about him when we leave him behind to go get food. Now we know if we need to get back to our rig ASAP!

  • My Wife and I have a great system for set up and tare down, I do all the outside stuff and she does all the inside stuff. I think it's important for everyone to know all the procedures but more important to get into a routine and not to stray from it if possible. Love this channel, hope all is well.

  • I just subbed and watched your video. I feel so bad for you guys. You had it mega hard. Our first time rving we didn't break anything, thank goodness but we did make mistakes. Mainly with leveling. The fridge didn't work right but the second mistake we made was we ran out of water because we used too much to quickly. We also did not put the sanitizer in the toilet and smelled up the trailer. We cleaned it out and then forgot to put a little more water in there with a sanitizer afterwards and then we stored the trailer for a week. When we went to get in it, it stuck to high heaven. Now we clean it out then put a little more water in it with a sanitizer pod. I guess we just had to learn the hard way LOL.

  • Well good to know we aren’t the only ones! 3 months in and we have a few under our belt too. Very first trip started driving down the road with jack still down. Oops! Won’t make that mistake again!!

  • Enjoyed your candid honesty and humor regarding the mistakes. As a former pilot, we live and die by the check list. Make a check list till it becomes automatic and maybe that will save some headaches.
I read where all our seals should be checked every 90 days too. You will be old hands at RVing before long! No worries!

  • I heard from a little birdy that you should always check all your faucets are closed (or at least make sure the sink covers are moved) before charging the water line, and make sure all your cabinet doors are closed BEFORE you move a slide…
