Your Home On The Road Garden

Having a garden in your home on the road is a good way to keep your environment relaxing. Just the same as if you have a house, only that you can take your plants anywhere, anytime. Here is how you can achieve that garden on the road from busmanjim101.

The following plants are also best for your RV garden according to Kristi Trimmer:

Indoors:

Dieffenbachia, Spathiphyllum or Peace Lilies, Bonsai plants, Ivy and Ferns, plus Golden Pathos. If you want flowering plants you can’t go wrong with Kalanchoes ,Anthuriums, Bromeliads and even Calla Lilies.

Outdoors:

You can grow all sorts of herbs this way including Basil, Thyme, Oregano, and Cilantro. I’ve seen Rosemary grown as well, it just can get a bit big and you will have to divide it at some point. For flowers try growing Petunias, Alyssum, Begonias, Geraniums, Nemesia, and Violets.

Home On The Road Garden

See, having a garden while RVing is not impossible. It is something anyone can do even if you are traveling in your RV.

  • So you are not in transit then, judging by the number of pots and size of plants. I am trying to see how it is doable when on the move.

  • So it appears you’re stationary, or relatively stationary. And not a “Home on the road garden”. I am lookingfor ways to have a garden while moving.
