I would think that fresh corn on the cob would take forever to cook. . . Even when boiling it takes at least 20-25 min to get to that perfect bite.

I wouldn't trust this recipe too much when it comes to the cooking time.

I would parboil both the potatoes and the corn for a couple of minutes before doing this.
